1. Information We Do Not Collect

TripAway does not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) from its users. Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to keeping your experience secure.

2. Third-Party Services

Unsplash API

  • TripAway uses the Unsplash API to provide imagery within the app.
  • Unsplash’s use of data is governed by their API Terms. They may track data related to image loading or navigation from the app to the Unsplash website. For more information, please review Unsplash’s terms.

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • Some of TripAway’s services are hosted on AWS.
  • As part of standard infrastructure operations, AWS may automatically collect and store certain non-personal information, such as IP addresses, in server logs. This data is used for operational purposes, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and security.

3. Trip Sharing

  • TripAway lets you optionally share a trip by generating a link. Sharing only happens when you choose to create a share link.
  • When you do, the contents of that trip — such as the destination, dates, places, map coordinates, and images — are uploaded to and stored on our servers (hosted on AWS in the European Union) so the link can be opened. No name, account, or contact information is attached to the shared trip.
  • Anyone who has the link can view the shared trip, so please treat share links as public.
  • Shared trips are stored temporarily and are automatically deleted within approximately 24 hours of being created.

4. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect any non-personal data from unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Children’s Privacy

We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
